This is the final result for my 4th project for my digital illustration class. The project required us to take a sketch from our sketchbook and develop a composition around it. For now I am running out of time so I am pretty much done but I may return to it and touch it up more.
Update: Well I worked on it as much as I could but I made a lot of changes including changes in values, textures, minor details, minor composition fixes and minor touch ups.
Marvelous! The shading, the concept and the expression of emotion are well placed while being easy to note with a glance! The texture of the seperate elements works well enough to compliment each article seen within the piece, and gives a good sense of comedy to boot!
I have nothing to complain about this piece, save perhaps adding a bit more lighting, but then again, it's not necessary to appreciate this bit of work. Well done!
P.S: Sorry for taking so long to critique. Thank you for your patience!
Wow, it definitely looks a whole lot better now, and and the higher constrast between the values make the actions really pop a whole lot more. Love it!
Oh I am still working on it actually. This is just what I completed to in time for the assignment and I ended up with the best grade in the class on this project. However, there is stuff on this piece I am just not satisfied with as of yet plus I didn't get to add the textures I wanted and the one's that I have in now are very rough. Also there was a lot of minor stuff that was off and needed correcting. I might end up spending another 10 hours working on this if I get the time. I will update it later here on DA.
