Random Alien Subject 004

Dredged up from my imagination in response to other visual stimuli I present alien subject 004. Known to deal with heavily with species 003, these master engineers affect the lives of every species that has been touched by the tendrils of their mastery of technology and science, but at varied, sometimes unusual and high costs. Biologically they seem to have evolved from some sort of Cephalopod but have gained amphibious traits either due to natural evolution or genetic tinkering, this latter matter in this subject is obscure. This species's intelligence rating is only second to the mental master species.
