Self Destruction by Ito-Saith-Webb Self Destruction by Ito-Saith-Webb
While good is reposed,
evil shall destroy it's self.
This shall come to pass.

This started out as the final for my independent art study class but I thought that it might fit the contest as well so I thought why not kill two birds with one stone.

In Lovecraft's "Dream quest to unknown Kadath" the protagonist Randolf Carter and his allies remain silent and peaceful while their enemies eliminated themselves without any action on their own part. The scene depicts when Carter saw the infamous Gug being torn a part from the savage Ghasts.

PS CS4, Intous 3 tablet, 20+ hours (best guess)

Ah, excellent job!

Though, kind of bright for an underground city, isn't it?

Wow - this would make a cool movie scene, you know? It's neat seeing that design you made for the Ghasts being put to good use in this piece.
